DC Universe for one!I mean, every other mmo/mmo-like title available through PSN has subscription packages readily available for purchase. It stands to reason since FFXIV:ARR is up for digital download that subs would follow suit.
I've made inquiries elsewhere regarding this but can't seem to get a definitive answer. With all the complaint and non-relevant threads now saturating the technical support boards, it doesn't appear likely that someone with authority to confirm one way or the other will actually read this and give us a response.
Still, I'm hoping they do.

Yeah, DC was the one I had in mind. ^.^
It's so much easier to do it through the PSN store. I mean, if it comes to it I'll use Mogstation. But it would be nice to use the funds I originally planned to use for this game instead of another title. Thinking many other ppl have the same issue.

Really looking for an answer on this by one of the community reps. Bump bump, bumpity bump.

Is DC Universe Online cross-platform between PC and PS3 (e.g. PC players play against PS3 players)? I don't know the game and I can't see from DC Universe Online's website to see if they have the "world" concept... If the game isn't cross-platform cross-play, then the PS3 could be hosted on the PSN network, which mean the subscription is independent from the PC, I don't know this as I can't find enough information on the website.
AFAIK with FFXIV:ARR is that due to the cross-platform cross-play, and multiple worlds (servers) that it is maintained outside of PSN, potentially this is the reason that the subscription management is handled directly by SE.
Edit: Oh, I noticed that DC Universe Online is developed by SOE (Sony Online Entertainment) which would make sense that the PS3 is using PSN for its subscription.

I originally put credit to psn on regular basis with Ps cards ,to pay for plus and buy some indy games . During some months I buy dlc or new games ,and then it happens that nothing to buy ,and I cant remove credit from psn and move to SE account ,and if I buy pre-payed FFXXIV cards from my retailers ,I will have to pay pennys them too ,it's not fair, because I can buy PS credit cards with much smaller margin or no at all .
PSN's "Free Multiplayer Service" is no longer (or shortly rather) Free.
It will require Plus membership to achieve the same results.
Welcome to the Pay-Per-Month community PS fans.

I work at GameStop. It was announced. We are dealing with trolls in real-time.

That's because of PS4's requirement though, I would thought the PSN free multiplayer services/access will still be there for PS3?
Old news..
I am already in ps+ membership so actually it's not problem and it is awesome feature. ps3+ps vita will be free online Service forever.Only ps4
