SMN will need to have the Attribute points in INT and SCH in MND. Unless you want to pay 10k seals to respec every time you switch between the two, I would pick one of the two to focus on.

Do the attribute points allocation make that much of a difference? According to some they dont, and SE claims all you need to do is gear differently.
If the attribute points are having a huge impact it again points to how odd it is to have points allocation in a modern mmo to begin with. Even more so in this game which is all about switching classes when you feel like.A: They will be shared. Up until level 50 the equipment has stats that support both. Summoners will focus on INT, while scholars will focus on MND; however, this is because their roles are different as one is a DPS and the other is a healer. After level 50, you will have to select which you would like to specialize in by selecting the appropriate equipment.Q: Will the arcanist's attribute points be shared between summoner and scholar?
Im guessing though that they did it because they dont really like the idea that you would get two jobs just by leveling arcanist. Still doesn't make it any less annoying for people who want to be effective at both.
