Direction of FFXIV?

I personally prefer the first of the two options, but even so, such a concept can still be implemented in a way which I would disagree with. For example, FFXIV was rather bad upon release even though I liked the overall scope. I put up with the issues because I saw potential in the game when and if those issues could be resolved.

However, it's a different story nowadays. Now that the game seems directed toward Option B, I have to say I'm less excited about the future of the game, but I think I could still find enjoyment in it, maybe.

Ah ok, now I see. Well, when the changes are over and things settle down, hopefully you'll find something new that will draw you in and keep you playing.
