Anyone found how much DEX cap? Also, got nearly full set (with accessory) of Darklight, but I don't see much improvement from AF in damage, or maybe I mistake something?

My rotation is: Straight Shot - Venomous Bite - Windbite - Flaming Arrow - Attack macro until proc
I wait for the tank to do an AOE move before using Flame Arrow if there's multiple enemies.
My attack macro is:
/ac "Misery's End" <t>
/ac "Bloodletter" <t>
/ac "Heavy Shot" <t>
My buff macro is
/ac "Raging Strikes" <me>
/wait 1
/ac "Hawk's Eye" <me>
/wait 1
/ac "Internal Release" <me>
/wait 1
/ac "Barrage" <me>
I only use the buff macro during bosses. It's rarely needed for trash mobs. I've been lazy with leveling my Lancer but I do plan on eventually adding Blood for Blood.
For tanks that don't mark, I have a macro for /assist <t> and always target the tank before attacking.
I use Battle Voice and Mage's Ballad anytime I see a healer at 50% or less MP. Assuming there's not a target I need to quickly dps down.
If there's a black mage in the party, I do play Foe Requiem time to time. Usually at the start of the battle so my MP has recovered in case the mages need Ballad.

i've been using this rotation so far and it's worked for me very well,
Barrage (use when up) > Viper > wind > Heavy shot (to get crit buff)> blood > Straight. from there i straight shot untill staighter shot procs then heavy or heavy when its about to fall, repeat the cycle if crit buff is still up with plenty of time when blood is ready, straight > blood > heavy (if proc or is about to fall) otherwise use straight. the same is done when misery is ready to be used.
using a dps parser i found at the current time of this post at lvl 46 im pulling around 155 dps (with full buffs hawk, internal, raging, etc) and around 115-135 with no buffs on bosses that have little to no movement. on moving and add bosses of course results will vary.
At level 50 with some level 50 gear, how often does your River of Blood (bloodletter reset CD procs)?
But then your Bloodletter doesn't get the Straight Shot buff.
Hard to say for certain without parsing or something (yay RNG). I've had it not proc over a full 18 seconds, and I've had it proc 6 times in 18 seconds. So, yeah. . .
level 39 Bard here, i'm just curious what will i level up?
is it Disciples of the Land or the Hand? thank you very much
wow 6 times in 18 seconds...that would be pretty fun to see and make combat so much more...active kind of. Guess it'll only go up further as our gear goes up as it scales with crit. Do archers/bards get really good crits later on? Like can we stack it more than other classes?
So what u say about gear?
The Quest AF gear is really a huge improvment ofc, but what to aim next?
For Starting Weapon the best thing u can do is farming Ifrit Hard, until u got it.
Garuda is pretty hard with duty finder, but ofc garuda would be a even better weapon.
After that there is currently just the relic weapon (correct me on anything, if i am wrong)
Armor wise is a bit more complicated.
The Quest Blue gear (AF) is a huge improvment, but i find it kinda hard to upgrade,
The GC Items are overall not rly awesome...so not much use.
The green lvl 50 ini items, aren't that much better (those from Amdapore but they are just a little bit better)
The Darklight set doesn't seem to be that usefull for a bard.
So the next major upgrade i see are the mythology stone based gear. Which ofc takes alot of time to get, due to Weekly cap
On Necklace, Rings and so on, i didn't really compared them too much yet, but i guess the best in slot option would be darklight and mythology gear.

1000 limit on forums suck
___________
Ah and what are the caps for each stat?
I heard they have a cap?
Due to maintenance i can't post my current stats.
I know my crit is something about 400 (even thought i don't know howmuch %chance this is supposed to be)
Stat wise i were aiming for that:
Crit > Dex > Accuracy > Determination > vit > Skill Speed > anything else
@LunarEmerald
U use ur buff macro with a wait timer, doesn't limit u alot? Since u can't use anything else until ur buffmacro done his whole job?
Might be better to bind the buffs on ur attack macro, if there aren't any boss mechanics which need immense burst at a certain short amount of time.

@Viridiana: so that's why i suggested invert using first bloodletter, then straight shot, then the debuff, giving time to bloodletter to proc or to recharge itself, so you can still use another time. During the animation of bloodletter you can still use straight shot, if you time it well, giving you that 0.5 - 1 second to be more effective. :3
@LunarEmerald: basically i do the same. For the trash mobs i use the buff macros when tank start fight, and when we move from mobs to mobs. I can proc the buffing while moving, so i don't waste any precious time :3
@Blessed: for your relic weapon is botanist for Spruce Logs (Dragonhead, rare spot, 10.00 a.m. Eorzea time), then Carpenter for crafting your weapon. :3
