AF gear - handed to you for dinging 45/50

I know it's not very good and easily replaced, but it could be made better and actually require some effort to obtain.

What is more fun and feels better, having something given to you for free, or working hard on something then finally getting it after all your hard work?

That's part of the problem, they made something that was iconic into something that you're only going to use for a short time. That's an addition to the problem, not justification to it.

Well the top gear now is AF2 which is Ilvl 90 which you buy for mythology looks pretty similar to AF and is the top gear but it takes a long time to get because you can only get 300 tombstones per week.

You can just get the AF2 Gear with mythology stones, it'll take a while but it's not hard~

That would be the AF2 gear that takes a lot more effort to get.

Yes, I also said I know AF2 gear exists. It doesn't change the fact everyone is given the iconic gear just for dinging 45 and doing one easy boss battle at 50. People should have to WORK to look like their class, not given it for free.

The gear is garbage anyways, so I don't really care anymore. It was incredibly easy to obtain in 1.0 as well.

I like 1.0 way where you had to earn it, at least those provided some form of challenges to get them despite them being entry-level high lvl dungeon gear.

I suppose they had to make this game appeal to casuals though somehow. So obtaining AF1 gear between 45-50 gives some form of "accomplishment."

Why is there absolutely no effort or work in obtaining the class defining AF armor? At level45, you basically just have to talk to NPC's, loot bags on the floor, or open random chests in a zone that's of no danger to you. There is no effort involved, it's extremely easy.
The level50 quests are slightly harder, having an actual boss fight, but still incredibly easy.

Why doesn't AF require dungeons? Or party bosses? Why is basically "free" full blue armor upon dinging 45 and 50?

Answer: Becuase there is a better version that does require effort to get.

You may not have noticed this, but the AF still only has stats on it. They don't have any of the special effects that they had in 1.0.
