Don't worry guys. After 2-3 hours on hold or in chat queue, you will get a friendly representative telling you that they escalated your account and time estimate of 2 weeks to get this resolved.
Un-believable.
Also, I asked specifically how the 7 days will be applied tomorrow giving every permutation as a multiple choice option (7 days on 1st "locked out" account and 30+7 on 2nd account or just 0 on 1st "locked out" account and +7 on second account). Support simply doesn't know the answer at all.
Want a refund? Bought through square enix? Well, you still have to go through a third party site that handles their transactions. Seperate service entirely. I think the key phrase here with all of this support nonsense and poor design is "Not integrated".
I called at about 12:54 EST (9:54 PDT), waited 10 minutes if that to get a hold of someone. Just told it was escalated and could take up to two weeks. So wonder if something goofy happened to place you on hold that long?Same thing happened to me for live chat. I opened a new session from the support page right at 9AM when they opened and started out at number 96. After 2 hours I had dropped to around number 50.... And then my status got cancelled.
Thankfully I'm still on hold for phone support too... but somehow despite calling the second it was 9AM, I'm still in queue after 2 hours.... *sigh*.. I hope I can get this fixed today... If not I'll have to wait until next week to try again.

did others tickets get canceled when they had their issue escalated? is that normal?
Finally got through on the call support at SE, but I'm on hold. Hopefully I can get a hold of them before I have to leave to go pick up my sister in less than 2 hours. Wait time is 1.5 to 2.5 hours... just my luck, right?

I highly recommend getting in the live chat queue 20-30 minutes before it actually opens so that you'll be one of the first ones to receive assistance when the lines do open up.
Yeah. They have to be dropping a lot of people. I went from 279 to 199 in 10 minutes.

I feel like crying.
It should not be this hard.
think I head that all accounts get the 7 days my guess is that anyone that has the pre order code in :P so even if u r not fixed yet I think u would still get your 7 days
