Why does the world suck?

So you enjoy the fact that you can run through and explore every place in the entire game on a level one character? There is no excitement to explore. Yea the areas look great, but the world sucks overall. Once you get past white knighting SE you will realize this.

Good luck running past level 49 mobs at a low level. Even on a chocobo, you won't be able to most of the time. They inflict heavy and you're screwed. You're not going to get very far in the beastman tribes without a high level 40 character. Enemies are everywhere and many have ranged attacks.
