I don't personally engage in the afk thing, but I won't bash people who do. SE made that the only way to actually play consistently. Blame SE first and foremost.

Thats a little out of line, don't you think? You and I both know, we would all pull the same thing if we got our foot in the door. I'm not saying I'm proud of it, but I will definitely call a spade a spade.
Look, the issue lays in poor server management. I for one would and had stayed afk in XI for at the minimum of 3 days at a time. And I remember when the PS2 service went on line. It was horrendous. After a bit, they worked it out, and 11 years later, boom, zero server problems. There is no need to bash people who happened to get in, and are frankly worried/livid/terrified about the roaming issues.Logging out when not around the system? No way!!! Oh wait.. that's just common sense, to give the system a break, to give the server a break, and to let someone else enjoy playing for a bit.....
but we all know common sense is long gone with this generation of idiots we call gamers.
In closing, let's just give them time, keep spamming 0, and hope for the best.
