edit: I do know of legacy members with 1.0 assets past 900mil.
Not counting several LS's I know of that banks with several 100mil+ mules.

Yeah good for you like I said I grabbed some gear to get me through but I'm not stupid enough to spend crazy gil on gear when all the best stuff comes from rare/ex drops it makes no sense, I just bought what I needed and NPC'd the rest of my gear which included a now dated Crab Bow+3 that cost me 80 million back when it was the best bow in the game. I am waiting for housing to come and will just snap up the best one when it becomes available. I did have over 650 mill in 1.0 at my high point but it was down to just over 500 by the end which got turned into 50 with the new format.

I have roughly 400k. If I see someone is selling for less than the npc value, I'll usually buy their stuff, then resell it at a better price.

I have 300k. I had 2mil in 1.0, which got cut to 200k. Since then I have earned 100k from quests and selling. Saving up for personal housing.
