Tbh I've been logging out, but that's because I'm a nice person, it's not until today that I've had this problem. Again I'm witness to a self centered world, sad times.
I wouldn't worry about what Ruprect has to say at this point. He's already admitted he is in support of afkers, and if an afk timer goes in he'd just cheat his way around it like he does other games. Yoshi's posts addressing the community don't strike me as thinking players as nothing more than subscription numbers bringing in money. I have a feeling once the servers get stabilized, they will probably turn their attention to cleaning the community of bad apples that bring negativity and problems to the game, such as botting and gil sellers, and cheaters.
I just don't understand what all these afkers are doing posting these goofy reasons why they feel justified. Go play! We're all waiting on you. If you can post here, you can probably play. So play! Get outta here. Jeeze (facepalm)
This x10Are you not being selfish by demanding that he log out. He wants to play just as much as you do, the only difference is he actually got on and doesnt plan on sitting in the log in screen forever and ever. Grow up and realize this is how the real world is. You look after yourself and your friends and forget everyone else cause they arent important. I wouldnt screw myself over just to help some random stranger and im certainly not gonna log off just to let someone i dont even know on the server instead of me.

Cool story bro, heres a cookie.I remember a couple of days ago after I logged out. I couldn't get on for over 24 hours. Not that I tried for that long, mind. I do have a life, after all, and not being able to get on just meant I had extra time to do other things, like watch a movie, clean my house, talk on the phone, you know, enjoy life. And while I wasn't playing, I knew someone else could, which is cool with me. Until the servers problem is fixed, I want to do what I can to let everyone else get a chance to play the game. Why should I stay logged in 24/7 when I don't play the game 24/7? And if it takes a while to get logged back in, that's more time I have for other things. Also, I know I will eventually get back into the game. So, basically, I have too much maturity, empathy, patience, and just too much of a life to keep my computer logged into a game out of fear that I might have to wait to log back in if I log out. Just my $0.02.
Actually im at work 2-10pm while my character is logged in Uldah...no one afk'es then sits around the house staring at their screen hahahha wtf guy.
Fun.
I log off and i log in, ive never once had a problem. I sit and i get ques too.
What game are you guys playing o.o
because we want to play the game together, because we enjoy playing the game together and the ONLY way to do so until SE fixes the servers is to not log out so we all will be online at the same time
Perhaps you could wait till it's fixed to be all together at once. This situation clearly does favor pre-organized groups and trying to impose that is just making it harder for other players.
Besides, you can make new friends when you're actually on and then you'll have an even bigger group by the time everything's sorted out.
