why do people think this is an excuse? for one it's not even true, some mmo's have starting issues but there also has been plenty that has had near perfect launches. Fact is there is no excuse for poor planning! SE the game once you play is great, but the server issues is simply caused by poor planning and that is it. Director even admits to the failure of poor planning but tries to excuse it. which there isn't one!
i agree im done with my vacation and have to start working again but by the time i get off work all servers are full now i can only play on weekends thats not what im paying for im hoping that square enix will fix this but im hearing alot of chatter in game about them just waiting till players quit the game instead of expanding servers now ofc this could all be pure nonsense but when i cant log in the fear just starts creeping up a little that i spend money for nothing so i kinda hope people can tell me otherwise to calm the fear (yeah i sound like an addict thats because i am)
It has been the same problems for a week and no improvement. Did they all go on vacation? Yes I am whining, what is it to you. Cs has not read any of these post. they say they fix the problem then a minute later it is the same problems. The developers were idiots and I guess only thought 10 would play the game.

Knowledge IS power.
aahh, ok thanks guys xD
A legacy player is a player that payed the subscription for more than a month in FFXIV 1.0
Anyone that came back was allowed to keep their toons from 1.0 which is why there is a bunch of 50's running around
Someone who played the first version of the game (or 1.0 like ppl say)
Not everyone stopped playing the game, even if it was bad. That's why there are also Legacy Servers, which were the first servers to launch back in 1.0.
That's pretty much it.
no exploit its fate burn partiessome people have all jobs lvl 50. For that reason I think that are an exploit around the game
