I'm getting a combination of 1017 errors before the character selection screen, and a message saying the NA/EU worlds are unavailable. I have read the news and understand some sort of fix is happening Wednesday?
I will be someone who stops playing if the fixes fail to offer a more reliable service. I admit I'm a complete newbie - this is my first MMORPG and the first PC game I've played since Half-Life 2, I am far too used to the convenience of 3DS and Xbox 360. But paying money for a title that I cannot play when I have the free time to do so is, to me, unacceptable. I'm a school teacher so have little free time Monday to Friday - tonight I had roughly a 40 minute or so window wasted by log in errors and now ranting online :-)
Such a shame, as I think its a great game.
It wouldn't be so frustrating if the world status for me wasn't up. Finally got some free time and wanted to play a bit of this game. What is Square doing about it? Last I heard they where "considering" looking into "finding a Solution"
Employee 1: our account users can't log on because our servers are full. Some of which, aren't even playing. they are just standing there afk. we could lose all our players! WHAT ARE WE GONNA GO

Same here, in now too. Hooray for SE, no communication but I guess results speak for themselves at any rate!
I've been getting a queue option randomly since the game went live. It's only happened very rarely and I've never been able to figure out why it would pop up as opposed to the last X times I tried to log in but it's been there for a bit. It has been a bit more frequent lately though.
Now if only I could find the NA/EU servers ....

It isn't normal that, having paid 30 days of subscription, we are not able to enjoy them and, of course, they are not going to return that lost days. Meanwhile, the one thing we can do is complaining and praying, wishing them to notice our requests; the only thing we certainly know is that this days we have paid for are alredy lost.
