The only issues with SWTOR was the queues, and at least I could get in eventually and play... OH to have queues again... I'd kill for a queue...

I didn't mean launch I meant ability to affectively fix issues and listen to the player base and little to no updates. And no I didn't say actually connecting to the game. The servers were ghost towns for many making the game unplayable, just an example of lack of foresight and what happens when word of mouth spreads.I played SWTOR at launch, and I personally never had any issues connecting to the game. As I recall, the biggest complaints about SWTOR were content complaints, not technical ones. If some people were unable to play it when it launched, that is pretty bad, but in the case of ARR, EVERYONE seems to be having the problem more often than not. I'd say that makes this situation much worse.
The game did not launch with many things that players asked for. They took awhile to add them. The launched game, in my opinion was not a finished product and neither is this (for different reasons but I believe the comparison holds water).
the game did not get there ghost towns ill about 8-12(maybe it was less, been a long time sense I played) months roughly after the launch of the game cause after everybody maxed lvled and finshed end game content and was nothing to do after so people left like I did.. wich I was pissed cause I bought the collectors edition. But when it first launched there were a shit load of people playingI didn't mean launch I meant ability to affectively fix issues and listen to the player base and little to no updates. I might have been able to log in to SWTOR but that wasn't really a good thing. Each day that passed after launch I watched the numbers of players in every zone drop until the server was dead and Bioware forced us to merge(calling it a "transfer"). The game engine was a beta("Let's spend a few million on voice acting but pennies on the game engine, durr") almost as old as FFXI. I have a great comp and it looked and lagged terribly. Many of the planets were horribly designed, Coruscant especially, but many others were right behind that. The voice acting didn't impress me all that much, I'd have been happier without it. Class skills were destroyed in the name of PvP, just like WoW did. The game could have been great single player, the stories aren't too bad. I'd rather wait to play a good game(all I need is a queue!) than have a server of SWTOR all to myself besides a handful of AFKers. Not even in Bioware's wet dreams could SWTOR have had as much interest as ARR. I laugh at LucasArts every day for pulling the plug on Galaxies in favor of SWTOR.
In case anyone disagrees, Casey Schreiner said it best on the last episode of the MMO Report. (while fading from existence, his last words) "SWTOR is overrated!"
Nah, man. I could log in to play SWTOR at launch.
lol...didn't it take them about a month to fix the issue with slicers making atleast 16 times the credits that everyone else who did other professions could make? I had players offering me credits on jedi covenant and telling me to switch to slicing and I was more interested in making lightsaber hilts. That alone ruined that games economy.

To everyone saying SWTOR had such a better launch:
Go play that instead since you love it so much. What's that? This game is better? Worth the issues even? Okay. Stop bitching then.
dude stop being a bitch.. we were not saying its a better game, all we were doing was making comparisons in how mmo's launch start ups were.. but if u read that u would know or u did and just being another internet asshole that has to flame people cause you got some stick shoved up your ass way to far and cant get it out so u got to be a ass hole and flame people and try to act like a tough guy...
