as an SQL DBA and Developer who manages as Tech Support team this is laughable. There should be updates within a few minutes anytime their service goes down. Maybe I'm missing it but still see nothing from SE.

As a professional security-software developer and ex-CSR for an ISP, if I worked at a company that had this level of inadequacy in terms of capacity for a product at launch, despite having presales figures upon which to base capacity estimates and buildouts, and were even in the same building as those responsible, I'd not only have been fired, but I'd bet set on fire and what remained would have been fired.
