dropping a couple pings is not necessarily a bad sign when the server is getting hammered with login attempts... it's suffering a sort of mini SYN flood at the moment.

Not saying there aren't issues with bandwidth and such.... but, then again... that kind of is the point.

You are experiencing issues right now because SE oversold the game for the level of hardware/bandwidth put in place. They are scheduled to address those issues tomorrow night with the overnight maintenance.

No where does it state they are planning to address the band width issue. They state that they "hope" that adding more world servers and instances servers will help with the bandwidth issue. they are not planning on addressing this issue on Tuesday/Wednesday.

They had mentioned looking into/addressing bandwidth concerns further back, hoping to have some changes in place when they added new servers.
