The ability to *customize* your artifact armor's color would be even nicer.

Then you could have the awesome, more traditional Black Mage colors if you wanted. (VIVI!!!!!)

This would also let players keep a shred of individuality while enjoying their artifact armor.

I was just thinking about this the other day, I would like the iconic black mage blue color and yellow hat like the npc has. Also I wish it didn't have that eye patch thing. The npc's armor doesn't have that either...

Nooo, keep it black! The colours Lalai wears are awesome, but it makes it look like hes wearing denim. A black mage all kitted out in black is way better. However, I do agree that we should be allowed to customise AF gear. Although I love the colour it is already.
