Playstation registration code still not working

On August 28, Square announced that the issues regarding the redeem code functionality of retail copies of the PS3 version had been fixed. I bought a copy last night but the redeem code screen continues to tell me that the code is invalid or has already been used. Anyone else having this problem or heard anything regarding this? Thank you!

What code (20 or 12 digits) and where exactly are you trying to redeem it (e.g. link of the web or PS3)? Which region (NA / EU)?

Make sure the Characters you type in the psn is correct; I had this problem too but noticed that the onion shaped O's (believe me I thought they must be O's and can't be 0's but it is actually a D even though it doesn't have a curve)

Make sure your entering the code from the back of the manual too which I presume you are. Retype the characters but definitely O's are D's remember

Wow you just saved me. The O/0 was totally a D. That is the most poorly printed letter I've ever seen in my life. Thank you!!

In my case, my ps3 copy came with two different codes. One is the registration code on the back of the game pamphlet (12 digits) and the other is the serial code on the product registration card (18 digits). Needless to say, neither works. I don't have any mystery O/D letters. I sent a support request on the 27th without response besides "we will contact you within 48 business hours". lol. Any thoughts?
