Gil sellers are driving me nuts

This seems to be getting worse every day. I can handle shouts in the cities, but getting /tells every 5-10 minutes is really spoiling my enjoyment of the game. Not to mention the devastating effect it will have on the economy.

Also worth considering the blacklist has a limit of only 200, so it wont be long before that's rendered useless too.

I would imagine SE are collecting the information now. They will have the details for the characters accounts and be able to trace logs. It just needs policing and we will probably see monthly bans with reports like we had on 11 with the STFU. Their operations will always go for the top dog. The guys advertising will not have the gil, nor will the mules.

The spam filter in 11 worked very well. Before that there were even windower programers who made a no spam plugin. Maybe we will be allowed to use some 3rd party programs in the future if SE can't create a better one. There are lots of talented players out there!

you can begin to unblock those in blacklist after fee took place, I doubt the gil seller will pay for sub fee just for sell gil, they need to hack some acc

Sadly those saying that not buying their products will force them to leave are wrong. While I wish it did, they can still advertise here by making money selling currencies in other games. The only way we can get rid of them is with an active banning system with dedicated GMs set for this purpose.

Hell I may even be able to log in once they're banned.

The same sellers spamming you for hours. Where is the GM team? If they aren't going to actively root out this problem, then please at least give your players the tools to quickly ignore this plague.
