seriously getting to level 50 in 3 days was your fault. What you didn't sleep or go to work / school ? I'm taking my time to enjoy the game.
Whats the purpose to get to Lvl 50 so fast. Once your there what....you and every other Exp Point Burner are sitting around wishing from something else to do.
Why ??? That's amazingly stupid. Craft and Gather and help build the in game economy. Why sit there and complain about End Game Content on day 3 of release.

of course the biggest problem is if you are leveling a dps class as your 2nd as queue times for dungeons is huge, I do my hunting log etc but once thats done im in a queue for around 40 minutes to get into a dungeon just need to get to 35 i guess and join the old fate farming parties

Also lol @ side quests are for casuals. This post is just full of stupid.
If you like many other ignorant people who don't would have actually read the "active help" when it Poped up instead of ignoreing all game text in a story based rpg (this makes sence?) You would have learned that the higher level your main is, and the further gap between itself and ur current class being leveled the more exp you get from FATES. In lamemans terms your second class and all those so after get MORE experience from FATES. Wich is 10 times faster leveling then questing even when you use your first class.

You're right poopsocker, it does apply to fates. I actually do read the help popups, but I couldn't remember if it said it applied to fates or not. Also, its layman's terms. Good try though.

You leveling by doing FATES, kill normal mobs while waiting for dungeon grind, your hunting guide and do your guild levee - those are four ways to get your xp - more choices than your typical games.

2nd job FATE give more xp then quest FYI.

IF you want to grind imaginary quest..fine... but they made it to the point it's not worth it. and Fates are more party friendly.

I'm passing up a lot of quests at level 40 that I plan to get back to on my second class. Seems there are just too many quests, especially around the 1-20 range outside of each city-state. Like others have said: FATE, Dungeons, hunting log, guild quests, levequests, guildheists, exploration, or grinding. Just keep at it. The second class you should be more casual with and take a little more time to enjoy Erozea.

I think the main problem here is people are used to making entirely new alt characters on other games...which is so different than here, where its all one character.

Being unable to redo quests and being forced into the "grind" is something that (like someone suggested) is much better to do in intervals, but there is a distinct feel of "nothing to do" when one char's at 50, you can't find a group for endgame content, and you're stuck trying to figure out which of the lesser of 8 (like 18 if you're counting crafting/gathering) evils you are going to do in the meantime.
