The way they went about this was most definitely interesting. Hopefully things get a bit more exciting in the coming weeks.

I never thought about the return of 12 Archons being a bad thing, as in we have to fight them. Interesting. I was predicting we wouldn't see any major changes such as the destruction of The Black Shroud before the PS3 release, but I could be wrong. I actually hope so, the mazes need to go :P
Oh and PLEASE release Anarchist DoW needs more classes.
15 years ago, in the initial CGI- sure, we were led to believe that it was a battle between the Empire and the city-states, yet it may actually be more likely that the Empire had set out to stop the dragon instead. The battle took place in Mor Dhona, yet Gridania was spared during the Empire's advance?
So, is the Wyrmking Bahamut, and perhaps even the 'king' of Primals? While Ifrit, Titan, Leviathan, Garuda and the like are lesser demons. It would make sense for us to fight against the beast tribes close to the city-states and their Primals before setting out to Ishgard and to face the Wyrmking, if he is really more important as a Primal than the rest. One could assume the Empire has similar goals in mind.
This is exciting. Love when dev's put sneaky events on my game /o/
Here are some more shots of the strange GM/NPC if anyone's still curious. He visited us at Camp Horizon on Gysahl last night and spoke japanese. His weapon is the coolest!

Prob a stigma mark of some type. Btw Since playing the game with my headphones I notice a funne sound sfx when these special npcs come into play. And also the screen seems to pulsate.
Also it seems, some npcs you were talking to seem to never notice the npc was even there or was ever talking to you. Like in U'l"dah when you go sell the flower. The elf from the CS comes in talks to the girl at the counter after she askes about selling the flower. The screen pulsate and he appraises the flower and buys it off you, he leaves the screen pulsates again and npc asks about the flower as id she didn't see you sell it.
Similar occurences happen.
I personally can't wait to log back in and hope to run into these shdy characters.
