Unable to Update Group NA/EU Worlds...

Please fix this issue. I have been getting it for 3 days now, you can't even keep X'ing out you have to close the client, re-enter your password and One-time Password code each time this happens. It takes dozens of tries to get past this just so you can begin trying to login without getting Error 1017.

Why is this still happening 5 days after launch? It seems to be getting worse even.

Error 90000 when exiting an instance? I thought this was fixed already.
Game stops responding and crashes randomly.
Error 2002 Lobby server is full, the start button never lights up.
Error 1017 before your character is even visible.

They already specified they wont fix Error 1017 until they open up more servers which is not an instant process, could take a few more days, these server downtimes will be occuring as well, shouldnt last more than an hour, if you can't stand it, do something else.

I know what they specified, you don't have to tell me. I'm posting this to let them know I am extremely dissatisified with their performance thus far. I have been through many MMO launches, and they all have their problems, but this one is almost to the point of being intolerable after 5 days of this (8 if you count early access).

Let me ask you a question EienKibou, do you like the fact that you can't login when you want? That it takes you hours clicking stupid error codes to login every time you want to play?

They need to do something, it is getting worse every day. I do not mind waiting in a queue. I would love to have the option to just wait in a queue to log in. This whole mini-game of having to get the NA/EU servers to show up, and then spend hours trying to log in with 1017 while at the same time dodging error 2002 which is game over basically, you have to start over if that happens. It's just ridiculous.

The fact that no one ever logs off unless they are booted off by the game crashing or error 90000 is testament to how bad things are, and everyone staying online 24/7 is just making the problem worse, not that I blame people for doing it. You would have to be a masochist not to. Why they don't have an auto-logoff timer, I have no idea. If they did, the servers would not be as full as they are. They said they are working on expanding server capacity first, instead of working on the logoff timer, big company like Square Enix, why not do both? And why does it take them 2 weeks to upgrade their servers/add capacity? 2 weeks is a very long time to be causing your customers torture day in and day out just for trying to play your game.

If you know what they specified, then you know the specifics behind the Wednesday server maintenance and expansion. Your dissatisfaction now will not change the scheduled hopeful-remedy to the situation.

I'm speaking to the varied changes in the errors we are receiving. Before today and yesterday, I could at least load the NA/EU servers. I even wrote a login script to do it, because my fingers are starting to bleed with all the clicking. Now there is a whole new level of annoyance you have to get through before you can even start trying to log in. In addition, the JP servers aren't showing up either, and the wait time between login attempts is longer because it keeps trying to load them. If they made it so it only loaded your region's servers, instead of having it so both regions must load each others list, it would cut down on the strain as well, and make logging in less arduous.

My hope is, if enough people express their opinion that this error code trivia is not something we consider to be acceptable, then they might get creative and do something silly like implement a queue so you can click 1 button and wait X amount of time to log in. I wouldn't mind waiting for an hour or more, if I was spared having to play this stupid clicking game every time.

But people have been expressing their dissatisfaction with the queue system and various error codes ad nauseum... your thread isn't a unique or special snowflake in any way... it's just a redundant copy of many more that have come before it.

And not only are we currently unable to load NA/EU servers, but an update was just posted saying that this issue was solved.

Except no, it hasn't.

Issues with upgrading infrastructure and servers aside, don't make a big official post patting yourselves on the back, saying that things are working, when they haven't been. That's what irks me the most about all of this. Tell me you're still working on it, maybe even what the exact problem was. But don't say things are fixed when they aren't. It seriously reduces my faith in the technicians in charge of the servers.

But it's not his thread, his opinions and view are far more important than other people who have made similar/identical threads. Why can you not see that?
Without this thread I never would have even known of these issues, thank you good sir.
