    I understand that their customer service is backlogged, I really do. It makes sense. They didn't do their research right and screwed up. I get it. That's fine. But - SE should give us additional play time while they get their stuff sorted out. People in this thread wouldn't be as upset if they could at least play while SE took their time getting through all the forms and requests. But they can't play on the service account which has all their characters, why? I don't know. They could easily alleviate this problem, but they won't. I just don't get it. I just don't.

    That's the worse part of this: it's impossible to even start a new character on our chosen server, it would be a pain in the butt just to attempt logging in to the server if we could, and anything we do will be wiped anyways. There is no workaround.

    I've been reading this thread from day one and Yes i am also one of the seemingly thousands who made this mistake. I am now so lonely from lurking i finally set up on my forum account.. This is ridiculous Whats worse is i finally set up a free company with my new friends and they have no way of contacting me now and probably think i died under a rock lol.

    The only way I can understand it is how it's been programmed. Since before our accounts went inactive our sub time was specially labeled as early access which allowed us to have game time without an actual license tied to that service account. I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume they also had the mog hat and cait sith doll tied to that as well to save actions that the server would have to execute, lump everything into one master command labeled as early access.

    Since we can't buy subscription time without a license on the service account, one would assume they have it coded so that even if you had the generic subscription time that we're seeing on our service account 2's it still wouldn't let you in because of not having a license tied to it. If they were to just go and give all accounts early access again, in order to give everyone those few days over the weekend here, then those who didn't actually pre-order would be getting the mog hat and cait sith doll for free.

    Only thing I can think of as to why they haven't just given us more time like they did when they extended the early access.

    somewhere between 350 and 500. I think someone said about 454 or 455 but I'm not sure on that.

    - By using this link, you are bypassing parts of our support system and you may end up waiting in a chat queue for hours, simply because the chat is officially closed at that time and there's no one in the office to take your chat.

    Again, we're doing everything we can to help you as fast as possible but many of you will, unfortunately, still face waiting times over the next days.

    This has officially turned into probably the worst customer service experience of my entire life. I'm extremely disappointed with all of this.

    With that said, I'll still gladly be a paying subscriber once all of this is fixed because the game itself is just that good, honestly. But this whole experience has really ruined my view of SE as a company, and I really do hope some very negative publicity comes from all of this...because it really, really should.
