Some more flexibility would be much appreciated, even with what we're allowed to do while waiting in the queue. For example, I was partied with someone and we were waiting in the dungeon queue. I figured I'd go do a leve or something to pass the time. Nope! Turns out your party members have to be in the same zone, even if they have no intention of joining the leve necessarily. So, can't do that.

Another time, I switch over to Botanist to do some gathering while I waited. About 10 minutes later, the Duty Finder pops up, essentially to say: "Hey, just thought I'd let you know that the dungeon is ready now! I'd let you in, but -- oops, I see you're not a valid class for this dungeon, so I'll just boot you out and you can start waiting all over again. Goodbye!"

Why the heck would the game even let me switch to Botanist, and then keep me waiting in the queue, if I had to stay as the same class the entire time!? Obviously, my character can still change back when necessary, but there was no option for such a thing. I just got booted, no questions asked.

Basically, the game is telling me: "When you are queued for a dungeon, you can't do anything to pass the time. Just stand there and be bored." I actually missed the brief window once because I dared to read a text message on my phone for a few seconds!

That would be a horrible regression, that completely misses the point of having a cross-server Duty Finder. It's already a 1/2 hour wait to get into a dungeon, even with access to players from many different regions. Cutting down on the pool of potential party members will greatly increase queue times, and the longer the queues become the less people will even bother with it. Personally, I have been doing each dungeon only once because it was required for the main story, and never touching them again. Why would I? I don't want to waste my time sitting in a queue for 30-40 minutes or longer. If the queues were increased even further, this problem will just get much worse than it already is.
