If its not a 1017 error its a 2002 error and I cant click the start button. There are just so many problems with this game. People afk non stop so they never have to log back in so you just get 1017 errors. If you ever get past the 2002 error you cant even load the NA EU list so you can try to get in and fail. On top of all that I waste money on a Collectors edition that I apparently cant even effn use because some absolute retard in marketing or what ever decided oh you have a 1.0 standard account? sorry you cant use CE you have to buy an upgrade which didnt exist until the game was released for the second time. So now I have a worthless CE from SE store. At this rate there is no way I will get the upgrade or pay a monthly fee for this failure of a game. atleast 1.0 didnt have server errors like this when it started

Holy crap I don't know where to begin.

I have had an SE account for around ten years (FFXI) but I cant even post a new thread because my character level is too low (22?)! So i cant even start a thread to complain/vent my frustrations, I guess I will jump on this one

How many websites do I need to be able to log into? I thought Playonline was bad with ffxi but dang, I am having a huge headache all over again with all these places I have to go. Forums, SE account, the mog website, and w/e else there is.

Really I am upset that when I bought my ps3 download it made me register a new account, and even though I already created a character using the ps3 beta I can no longer access the character on my ps3. This was after a patch too... worked fine during early access :/

I guess I cant play for a couple of weeks while they straighten it out. I know, I know, I could start over again because I am only level 22, but I don't want to and I shouldn't have to. WTF!

2002 error piss me off the most, game close and i have to @$&#%%( re-enter my security token, now i call it my ANNOYING #&#%*% TOKEN.

That change nothing as the AFK people do not cause server load (on the DUTY NPC to be more specific) and the number of allowed player per world are base on that factor and not on how many player are online. If they would kick the AFK player, the number of player would be even smaller ><

Oh yea, because after 30+ runs of Flox I still dont have the BM hat/boots and had to take a break before I went insane lol.

The 2002 error is one that used to pop up for some because of their firewall....there was a solution on the beta forums but i havent seen any one else ever post about it. D: I was getting that error a lot during Early Access but then when it got to the release date I havent seen it until today. Try closing FFXIV and opening it back up. It worked fine for me once I did that.

A more dangerous solution is disabling your firewall.....but i'd rather not recommended that lol
I think on the forums the solution was a port, not too sure.
