    This explains it's self, the number of players was not and could not be foreseen, now these limits are in place so we, the players who bought their game do not crash the servers and stop everyone from playing, and they are even apologizing, it's clear Square do not care about us, because generally that's what an apology means... right? No? Oh.

    Here is a Question, what would you rather?
    A. Wait a bit longer but eventually get to play
    B. Let the server crash and no one get to play for quite awhile, resulting in you waiting for a much, much longer amount of time

    If you prefer B, you probably have issues to work out, so really it's that simple, now then, onto the next lesson.



    So, we're getting new servers, and each server requires several computers to hold all of us in it, and they have been making these preparations for awhile now, they don't happen over night, but some of us apparently think they should be manifested instantly to solve all of our problems, that's fine if you think that way but I would suggest that being high right now isn't helping anyone. Next?



    So there you have it, Square are actually doing something, because that's what they do, now can we please just have some sensibility on these forums, complaining, threatening spam or lawsuits or anything else that is impossible to take seriously helps no one, nor does it help your standing in the community.

    You bought their game, not only that, you're all playing for free, we have an entire month, A MONTH, 30 days, of playing this game, with no extra cost, on top of that we're getting extra free days, so missing out half a day or so of playing because the server is full is not going to kill you.

    Have some respect, they are dealing with everything as well as any company can, don't act entitled, because you aren't losing out.
    You holier than thou fanboys are really annoying. I just hope you all get terrible service for everything you pay for over the next 30 days, you deserve it.

    I understand and im an adult in this, I actually played some this past days, but an apology doesn't solve anything, they were conservative? they have spend 7 years approximately a huge amount of gil on developers, why did they overlimited the capacity of the servers? this was a second launch not a first, this game was shown as crap by the critics, by the way white knights... im legacy, I played from beginning to end of 1.0 even with all the flaws that they fixed by patch 1.23.

    Beta 2 and 3 were awesome I didn't found big issues in any of those, logged in on first try all the time, duty finder worked excellent you could enter an instance really fast with any role, so what happened? everything was working really great and when the launch came they failed... i was actually expecting the first day to be unplayable because of bugs, but the main reason is because they got overconfident.

    As a costumer we have all the right to whine all we want, im really disappointed with the launch, but im not quitting, i like the game.

    I agree I am on here to complain about the fact there isn't even a queue. They give you a message that basically says tough luck try again later. They are so focused on the Asian market that the North American servers are suffering. They are adding many new server sin Japan but North America is out of luck? If this error 1017 continues they need to start adding play time to folks accounts to ensure the customer is taken care of. Every day from 330pm-8:00 pm pacific it is impossible to log in. This is unacceptable even for a new game. They should have had contingencies in place to ensure that heavy server load could be addressed and handled. If the company does not address these issues they will start to lose player base. Fix error 1017 to offer a queue time wait at least we will get in the game instead of racing hoping we can beat out 10000 other people for that one open spot on the server.
