Is Arcanist considered healer

I've unlocked Scholar, and do not think it would be as effective or replacement to CONJ...thats my opinion, but I prefer SUM then SCH anyways. I could be wrong I think its just to aid the WHM in difficult battles with lots of players to heal. I think WHM still be best healer.
A SUM and ARCN are listed as DPS. I not checked Scholar class.

I've run Haukke Manor and Brayflox's Longstop with a Scholar healer. Brayflox's boss was tricky because SCH can't remove statuses yet at that level, but as a tank my HP literally never went under 80% in Haukke and when aoes and adds started running around no one was ever in any danger. It just takes practice and learning to direct the fairy well, it seems.

They are pretty much interchangeable, CNJ or WHM is just easier to understand so more players are probably better it at.
