Lobby Servers Unable to Connect to Servers

First boss way too much hp... 1017?! Just mad! Hard mode 2002?! Then Ultra mode 90000?! I just can't get past it.... tips anyone? And damn, if you are idle too long you get kai lang'd into a cinematic and have to start the whole battle over.

Sever kicked me off when I was in instance "Halatali" with the message "connection lost ..." now I cannot login ... sometimes I have a number error, sometimes the lobby issue or unable to load server list.

With all the issues they have had since beta4 and launch at what point does it become a "failed launch"? Also is the gaming community at large aware of the problems this game is having? I am just curious about these things, I do really like this game and want it to do well but with all that has been going on these are questions i have to ask myself.

If it were a failed launch, traffic would be dying down and people would be able to log in and play. Time will tell how many continue on to get subscriptions, but I suspect it will be many (but definitely not all).

I am having this trouble as well. Can't log back in after being disconnected while zoning. I was just leaving an area to finish a Hunting Log requirement and WHAM! No more gaming for me. Ultima server, last night around 10:30pm EST

See this is what happens when you rush in to white knight it and don't take time to actually READ! I mentioned BETA being screwed for many of us and that means not able level up characters which carried over, thus making so many of us already behind the 8 ball. Add in the various code issues which were completely SE's fault and then so many people unable to get into the PRE ORDER EA which most of us PAID for (which was the 24th sugarplum).\

Yeah I mentioned the 24th. It's in the quote. And it's only been 7 days. I'm not a white knight. I was upset like everyone else. But when I'm offered compensation I accept it. I don't spit in the face of the company.

I'm sorry but I really don't understand your beta argument. Just because you can carry data over doesn't make it not a beta test. You didn't pay for beta. Yes you paid for Early Access and that was the 24th which is a week ago today. So still you need another 7 days. Where are they?

From what I read about the update, what SOE is basically doing is adding more servers. They are not fixing the server capicty for existing worlds, but just adding more worlds. Do they seriously think by adding new worlds that people are going to drop everything, start a new character, level that character up, and not have server problems on these new worlds? They do not seem to know what the exact problems are.

There are greedy people who are going AFK and causing a lot of the problems. I am nice enough to sign off my game every time I play. I want everyone to be able to play the game: unfortunately there are a lot of people who do not do this. I signed on this morning and played for about three hours. When I signed on, there was this character standing right in front of me. When I came back to that city for a mission three hours later, I saw the same guy standing in the same spot. Get your act together and implement a kick feature for characters going afk more than 15 minuets.

From what I read, the issue is not with server capacity (the server can hold A LOT of people) but rather their server currently only allows 5000 simultaneous connections (this is not the same as the number of characters logged into the game).

Or they could update the community in their own community forums. When I have a problem with Best Buy I typically go to Walmart for more information ....

The forums have been volatile as the servers at times, happened a few hours ago. Just use the twitter, its more helpful and dosent go down.

Same error here now too. Can't even get past the Start menu.
