He loves the game. If you notice, everything went smoothly in Japan...........you
For anyone upset that they missed out on playing this weekend, you're not missing anything. The NA/EU servers have gone down again anyway even for those lucky enough to have our issue sorted.

I hate text based adventures...

I was really excited to be able to play this weekend but now it looks like I will not be able to because of one menu choice. I wish they would give us the ability to move the characters to the active service account, or move the subscription ourselves. Why do we need them to do that?
still waiting and i really don't think they r at work today at least for US :/
Hold up a second there TURBO....quit putting words in my mouthHis focus was on building a fantastic game, and he did a wonderful job of that. While perhaps, ultimately, there was something he could have done, one man can only manage so much without going insane from the pressure. Somehow, EU is handling their situation while NA is not. Perhaps NA simply elected not to follow through? If that is the case, then we can expect NA to receive major repercussions. You're jumping to conclusions regarding the situation. You're assuming no one tried to do anything. We don't know that.
Lets look at his from a point/counterpoint angle
"His focus was on building a fantastic game, and he did a wonderful job of that." Yes I agree the game itself is awesome so far. However In order for this game to run you have to have servers....which are full. You also have to have Account management which I think we cal all agree is FUBAR'd beyond all recognition
"While perhaps, ultimately, there was something he could have done, one man can only manage so much without going insane from the pressure." He is the overall project leader in charge of all aspects of this game. He has people on his team who work on the account side of the game. His job is to delegate and oversee the work of his entire team. Everyteam has to have someone to answer to, he is that person.
"Somehow, EU is handling their situation while NA is not." We don't know that for sure do we? YEs, there are a bunch of us on here that have yet to have a resolution, but how many people have gotten the fix that have never gotten on here to say they got fixed. I know of no less than 7 people who have gotten fixed without once opening this thread much less saying anything on it, and they are all from NA. It sucks because here I sit with no fix, but hey someone is doing something.
" Perhaps NA simply elected not to follow through? If that is the case, then we can expect NA to receive major repercussions." again, says who? We don't know the particulars and it sucks, we dont know what is going on behind the scenes because of the lack of communication on their part, again this is a broad sweeping statement you have made with little or no facts. Here are a couple of facts for you to use in future posts. It has been over 24 hours since they have said anything on Twitter, the last post on twitter was a picture of a dorky looking cosplay chick. They are more interested in PAX right now than anything else news wise. Facebook has yet to be updated with any pertinent information.
"You're jumping to conclusions regarding the situation. You're assuming no one tried to do anything. We don't know that. " Again, there you go again trying to read my mind. Anyone who has been in this thread as long as I have....around page 200....and has had the pleasure of my company knows by now I don't assume anything. Everyhting I say is either Fact or an opinion based on a fact. You are right, we don't know what is going on because a lack of communication. YES a moderator jumped in here 50-60 pages ago and gave a hallmark greeting card statement that said absolutely nothing. So until some real news and communication jumps out the logical conclusion....no assumption......is that there is no concern for communication at all.
It probably has something to do with the ways the keys work. They can only generate so many. If they let someone just jump from account to account, or merge subscriptions into their primary account freely, then someone could just keep buying new copies and shifting them over. I don't know WHY someone would do that, it would be way more expensive, but that's the logic behind it. They don't want to run out of keys. I guess they could just recycle the old ones, but then someone could keep their old key and use it over again when it becomes usable again, because they recycle them. Then when someone buys a copy and receives that key, they can't use it.I was really excited to be able to play this weekend but now it looks like I will not be able to because of one menu choice. I wish they would give us the ability to move the characters to the active service account, or move the subscription ourselves. Why do we need them to do that?
