How much do you actually know about this? She didn't sue TO PUT labels on the coffee. She "sued" when McD only offered a few hundred bucks toward her expensive-ass hospital bill (which btw was not 5mill). You act like she didn't know the shit was hot. People know coffee is hot. However, no one expects to accidentally spill some to the point where they need skin grafts. Her spilling the coffee was an accident. Her needing hundreds of thousand of dollars in medical attention is McD's fault. Prior to that, McD had already been hit with hundreds of reports of severe burns. Get a grip. There's nothing dipshitty about it; did she really need a label on her coffee cup to indicate that the liquid was hot? Really? Are we that much of a moronic nation that we need warning signs and caution labels everywhere so we don't commit mass levels of stupidity? What type of coffee ISN'T hot?
Yeah, it sucks she injured herself, but it was pretty much her own fault.
Let me reestablish:
I spill coffee I just made on me. Shit that burns. Whoops
That coffee that spilled on her. Oh my god my sweatpants have literally melted into my leg and I need skin grafts.
Wait a minute, wait a DARN minute...
You only get 3 strikes... that's the rule, 4 strikes is just plain silly...

She actually only walked away with $640k, received 3rd degree burns across 6% of her body (specifically her legs and groin), required skin grafts, and initially was only looking for a settlement of $20k to cover her medical costs. Give this link a read about the whole incident, as the lawsuit was hardly frivolous; the media only spun it that way because it got more ratings. ( http://www.lectlaw.com/files/cur78.htm )
I dont know about this coffe sue issue, But did you know that a lady put her trailer on cruise control and left her seat to use the bathroom and obviously the trailer crash, well she won the lawsue b/c the manual never warn her about not leaving the seat while under cruise control , Or how about the case where a Thief sue the house owner for braking his leg for trying to rob him
your posts are hard to read. but made more hilarious when I read them looking at your avatar.I dont know about this coffe sue issue, But did you know that a lady put her trailer on cruise control and left her seat to use the bathroom and obviously the trailer crash, well she won the lawsue b/c the manual never warn her about not leaving the seat while under cruise control , Or how about the case where a Thief sue the house owner for braking his leg for trying to rob him
I don't know about this trailer crash, but this second one you're talking about is a myth. Also I'm curious as to why you're trying to come up with examples of "frivolous" lawsuits. It's as if you're comparing them to your own baseless threats of suing.I dont know about this coffe sue issue, But did you know that a lady put her trailer on cruise control and left her seat to use the bathroom and obviously the trailer crash, well she won the lawsue b/c the manual never warn her about not leaving the seat while under cruise control , Or how about the case where a Thief sue the house owner for braking his leg for trying to rob him
Is not a myth and not comparing just educating you on real fact
lol Good luck with your lawsuit... if you win I'll jump off of a bridge.
