I swear I read somewhere once that the armoire was supposed to be used only for big items like relics and stuff. Don't quote me, I could be wrong. XD Anyway, just keep it with your retainer.

Yes i think the chest in the Inn rooms isnt meant to be a storage chest ..at least not yet. When we get housing that will be a place to store things. ..i am guessing.

I put my onion helm in there no problem. Maybe because it doesn't really "do" anything. I have no idea. :\ Would be nice if more could go in there.

...and once you put your Onion Helm in, if you go in to remove it, it is in a tab labeled "Exclusive Extras" so there's no reason the Mog Cap or Helm of Light shouldn't go in there. But they don't.

Most other special items can go in it, so it's probably just an oversight and they'll add them to the list of things that can be stored eventually.
