It is so easy to say this when everything works for you. I bet, you'd be crying the loudest here if you had an unfair bill sent to you. To claim that those ppl at fault themselves is outrageous. Of course, mistakes happen, but not this many. This is definitely the result of a badly made site, with unclear guidelines or just plain bugs and errors.

Thank you for the support, and i agree with everything you have said. Other than "What type of coffee ISN'T hot?" there are many kinds. However mcdonalds only recently started to carry anything but. So your statement stands. Just saying, i would expect someone to state soon that...

True. I imagine, however, that if she went to McDonalds, and didn't intentionally order an iced coffee, and the drink she picked up was warm in her hands, she should have been able to deduce that the beverage was, indeed, hot. :P

The fact that she was hurt (dont care) does not matter to me because i didnt know her, and am a fairly cynical person. I could care less if it melted off her legs into her stomach.

That does not change the fact that she did not understand that coffee (which was at the time for mcdonalds, generally hot) would be hot, or she could atleast have tested the fact before picking up the cup, as it would have been, a fairly hot cup, to melt off her legs.

However, The fact of the matter is, that does not change the fact, that you have to be anywhere close to literate to win a case in court. Which was the point i was making. as stated, in a quote from your post "Grammer has nothing to do with a lawsuit >.>"
