XI controls

Idk. I've modified all my keybindings to closely match how I played on FFXI, to the point where the only time I have to use a mouse is to refocus windows when I try to chat. I very rarely need to use a mouse.

But what's odd is that I altered my targetting keybindings to Q and E and I cannot target other carbuncles with what I had setup. It's to the point where I want to target carby sometimes so I can actually heal it, but cant.

Not in the game now, but I can follow up post on my settings if you like.

I would actually, if you don't mind. I'm sure there's a reason they haven't implemented it yet. I know they're goin after casuals used to other MMOs' controls but there's a huge XI base that's used to things the way they were. And XI controls were absolutely perfect in my opinion.

So you keyboard turn and S key ?

Color me confused... But what's the issue with playing with a mouse? I don't use it to move unless I'm in a boss fight, and then, it's mainly just to move the camera quickly so I don't miss things going on around me and get hit by anything.

Same question for you?
I can't imagine a valid reason to advocate for this "play style"
