it's not the overload in general they should have for seen that this was going to happen and then put more servers out make them bigger wat inv1.0 it was free to play but a crap load of grinding correct well they should compensate for this issue thas happening now its eating my games days up

To think that creating a thread to exude your "feelings" nobody cares, it's a business, you don't want to be a part of it contact customer support, nobody on the forums can do a thing and you know it. i've been on the character screen for damn near 3 hrs constantly trying to get in and when i have a slimer of hope im about to say im so and so in que then i get server full so im patient doesn't mean i cannot vent my issues

Man.... the people on this forum that cry, and cry, and cry some more... I have seen these errors myself but not for more than 5 minutes. I think if people had just a little bit of patience, they would be running around in Eorzea like the rest of us who sat for 3 minutes and continued to click on our characters!! Even through the beta phases I was able to get in without much waiting, and now that SE has began fixing (not quite fixed) the problems, there has been a significant change in the ease of logging in. I truely hope that you can find it in your hearts to forgive yourselves for not sitting at the comp without shi tting bricks and logging in like errbody else brah.

I can completely agree there are things one person can take without Nerd Rage Nerd get ( Angry... you don't like when I am Angry....) RAWR stomps around!!!!!!!
I am taking my money else where that can be the reason again with this version 2.0 cannot fix issue people will start to leave again and u will lose millions now i can understand that you give us like 2 or 3 months of more free months while u work out the kinks yes u lose out on money for those 3 months but think of the long run u will be paid back double in time since we will recommend more friends to play

People are forgetting or not reading the comments in this thread. It's two weeks of not accessing the game. The server issues have nothing to do with it for thousands of people. Some may be getting double billed as well.

Honestly, all I want is for somebody to say "Sorry, we screwed up again." The again is key. This iteration of this game was born from failure, and to commit such a failing as servers that cannot handle your population immediately upon release of an until now unheard of second try should embarass them.

They have yet to apologize for this that I've seen, just thank people for their assumed patience. They have not admitted they screwed up, just acknowledged that something is wrong and imply that it's something that could not have been avoided. It could have.

I played 1.0 for maybe a month, through hellish, arguably unplayable latency. I can't tell if it was a good game or not because of the condition it was in. The only difference I see now is instead of letting everybody on and bringing everything to a grinding halt, they are just not letting you play at all. Doesn't seem that different.

Actually, Yoshida specifically has.. once here on the forums (look through the dev tracker) and once in some interview or something that he apparently got very emotional in. Anyways, can't blame someone for wanting their money back regardless. You pay for a product and it isn't working for you? Not many people aren't going to want their money back. Quite frankly those that wouldn't are in very much the minority. It takes a certain kind of blind loyalty or laziness for that to be the case. I may believe the game is worth being patient for from being able to get in the game myself pretty easily most times (except today), but I know not everyone is going to be that lucky. It would be ignorant to do so. Really though, I do have to question the decision of them limiting their queues so much. Worse when it boots you out of queue. Who the hell thought that was a good idea? Other MMOs may have had less stable releases, but they at least had a stable queue most of the time.

the BS being they removed the AFK timer and guess what ppl stay signed in ,in order to bypass being locked out they said way before FFXIV:ARR launch that they wont rush it like they did with FFXIV 1.0 yet another blatent lie spoken by Squeenex in my oppinion this launch is more worse than simcity 2013 and Diablo 3 combined !!! i say reboot the servers which will kick those afk idiots offline and let us in till next patch to hopefully include an afk timer which was in all CB phases except in OB where it was removed then the server issues started T__T wonder why that happened !!
