Let's just put it in terms we all know because most of us have been there and done that.

At great buffalo:

Team 1: Gladiator, archer, archer, archer, conjurer, thaumaturge.
Team 2: Gladiator, pugilist, lancer, marauder, conjurer, thaumaturge,

One team wins with 6 minutes to spare.
The other team gets raged and there's really not a lot they can do about it without 2 more DD.

Except you're a moron. The Conjurer would be told to change classes or get kicked. No need for two mages in such a small party, just like no need for two tanks. Also, Archer couldn't break both horns. GTFO.

Let's say if they decided to nerf archer then what lnc will take 1st place in dmg and people will start 7lnc and a thm. Your way of thing won't help solve anything. Instead of nerfing a class, the better way is to make mob build up resistance to certain type of damage and become immune to it over time, that way it will force people mix up the party with different class.

See ya. You can rage. You can petition. You can argue what the father Rangers argued. It will not matter. Players are flocking to archer because it's overpowered. An entire generation of players are set to make the same fail mistakes in XIV, when we've already been here.

It's just going to make the beating more rewarding. IF you all get nerfed now, I'm the only bad guy. Small price to pay for never even going where we had to go in XI and forcibly EXTRICATE you from your high horse.

They already found a brilliant way to do this with incapacitation. To completely incapacitate most of the NMS you need multiple different DD jobs. Obviously someone needs to hold hate for those DDs to hit a mob in the right spot. And someone has to keep everyone alive. The devs got this part right.

Honestly, the only job I see getting screwed is conjurer because their AoE sucks compared to...wait a minute...this OP is a Conjurer...

Ya know, it was probably just as rewarding to see Tanaka beat black mages within an inch of their lives and slowly phase out their relevancy as it was rangers. I mean what do they even use blms for now in XI? Farming elementals and killing stones still? I know by the time I stopped playing FFXI, even my thief could burn a black mage.

I'm happy conjurer is the way it is--that is, totally hamstrung. Safe from all those ex-black mages who were just...problem players playing problem jobs.
