It isn't as though EU players are being actively treated differently. I believe it's just a difference in common business practices between EU and NA. NA business, as I see it, is a cesspool of self-interest and greed. Businesses would rather wring all the money they can out of the customer to maximize profits, instead of ensure that the customer will return by treating them properly. I'm not familiar with common EU business practices, however.

As far as I know, this is the first day that their customer service has been able to directly fix a player's account. Since the North American customer service center isn't even open, we can't really say if they're being treated any differently or not yet.It isn't as though EU players are being actively treated differently.
