Initiating Battle Regimen with a Gamepad

Hi Everyone,

I've been having issues with BRs on a gamepad and think I may be doing something wrong, but the Lodestone guide is no help.

1) I can start stacking a new Battle Regimen by hitting the emote/BR command on my gamepad while the skill I want to stack is selected

2) If someone else starts stacking a new Battle Regimen then I can add to it by hitting the emote/BR command on my gamepad while the skill I want to stack is selected

But once we have all stacked, how do I initiate the BR from a gamepad? Shouldn't hitting the BR button again do this? Right now, it seems to do nothing. The Lodestone guide just says "click the BR icon", which does not help me as I'm not using a mouse. How do I get this working with a gamepad?

You will have to create a macro for that. Just type "/br" and u will initiate it. (sup? lol)

Hit the button that opens your menu on your gamepad to launch the BR

Hi Freia! Thanks for that, I'll definitely go the macro route if I have no choice. But I'm excited about what Alexia said. Why is this stuff not documented. How does hitting menu make any sense? But as long as it works!

That's the only way I know of to do it on the gamepad without a MACRO so I'm sure it worked for him

Yes, it worked great! I just have no clue why they would use 'Open Menu' instead of just having you hit 'Battle Regimen' again.
