Re-made.:
FATEs are broken. They give way too much XP and the seals give gear that is WAY too good. People hyper level through fate grinds and use seals to get op Grand Company Gear. Not only does this mean that they level max too quickly, but it also means that the economy for the game plummets into nothingness because no one is buying gear from armors or black smiths.
No one is buying gear; gear can't be sold at a price that increases the sellers revenue even the slightest. In fact it cost more to make every item than you get from selling it. There is literally no item that can be made for less than it can be sold for.
Solution:
FATEs:
1. Reduct the amount of seals and XP gained through fates. 1/2 or even 1/3 the amount. (Nerf)
- This reduces hyper leveling and seal income. This in turn prevents the dead economy.
2. Increase the Soul Bound % when doing a FATE. x2 or even x3 the speed (Buff)
- This allows the destruction of items which helps circulate the economy.
3. Increase the Gil gained from FATEs. 3x to 4x the current amount. (Buff)
- This increases the incentive to spend your gold rather than just waiting to get your gear from a mission.
4. Disable any % Exp Boost other than food and rested XP from FATES.(Nerf)
- An addictive to help prevent hyper leveling.
Jobs:
1. Increase HQ item stats to surpass the stats gained from GC gear. (Buff)
- increases the incentive to purchase Player HQ items other than getting seals and Fate grinding.
- Note that if this were implemented, the need to nerf the amount of seals you get in Fates would not have to be implemented.
2. Implement the GC gear bonus stat to gear Smiths and Armorers can make. (Buff)
- This, again, increases the incentive to not only perches more gear, while also lowering the incentive to wait for better items to come to you in a mission. You can now get an item from a mission, and buy the whole set for an extra buff.
