A futile experiment if done well that will likely backfire. The community is flocking to archer for a simple reason: OP. Go to the great buffalo and try to outparse your ranger. A Ranger can damage it, die, return to the crystal, run back, wait for weakness, damage, die, wait for weakness, damage...and still beat the marauders and lancers who have been DD'ing the entire time...by 5% of the party damage.
