Missing 1.0 items

but the Calamity Salvager did not have mine. My gobbue is missing in action.

i have the icon but when i click it, i get that message about not being able to call him.

getting a little ticked off about this, especially since my in-game tickets regarding it are not being answered.

Did you have a chocobo in 1.0? Did you then use the chocobo whistle?
If no chocobo in 1.0, did you do the quest My Little Chocobo?

Mounts can't be called until you have the chocobo license... If you had 1.0 chocobo license, you should be able to find the chocobo whistle, use that, then start using your mounts.

thanks for the response--it's more than i'm getting from Square.

no, i did not have a chocobo license in 1.0--but i had a gobbue horn and a gobbue. i made sure i got him before i stopped playing.

i know you didn't program the game, but do you have any idea why i need a chocobo license to call a gobbue? a gobbue i had no problem riding previously without a chocobo license? why didn't they just give it back to me? (rhetorical question, i know you don't have the answer)
