How many times do we need to ask..

Please.... Implement a SIMPLE system that kicks a player for being AFK for, lets say... 30 minutes TOPS!
There is seriously no reason why a person would need longer than half hour to go grab a drink, food, bathroom, shower etc.

This is getting out of control, when the only time I can get past 1017 is past 1 AM EST.
Since I've had the game, I've never been able to get on the game before that time.

Seriously guys, why is this such a difficult thing to ask for? I don't know a single game which allows you to stay AFK for eternity. Then you have losers who afk all day so they don't lose their spots. Yesterday I saw the same guys in the SAME spots for over an hour and a half when I played last night.

Yep, turns out squeenix doesnt work on logic. The fixes they are talking about just involve adding new servers, not adding a ques system/putting the afk thing in, thats just something being considered. Read the post from the producer, it made me laugh, they clearly have no idea what the hell they are doing, they should really hire like a QA guy in a western MMO's call centre and ask him how to make an MMO, he would probably do a better job.

Resolving AFK Character Issues

From several users on some of our more congested Worlds, we have received requests for a feature which automatically logs out characters who are AFK for an extended period of time. We are actively looking into the implementation of such a feature, but have decided to first concentrate our efforts on increasing the number of Worlds and optimizing the Duty Finder servers.

How will increasing the number of worlds help me play my character on an overpopulated one where squeenix where terrible enough to not invent a que or afk time out.

Regardless, why are you allowed to afk forever? That takes up VALUABLE player spots, people who are ACTUALLY playing. Not away from their computers.
