    So what happened exactly with 1.0?

    I'm a legacy player but I forgot or didn't pay attention.

    How exactly did the game get pushed through in that state. Wasn't there a guy in development going "Naw man, that sucks, stop. Just stop"?

    Who was the last director and how and why did he do things the way he did?

    There are dumb decisions in every project, XIV 1.0 was just looking to take the grand prize. No clear goal, no organization, no structure, and thus a mess of a game was created.

    My mind can't compute the fact that same person who was pretty much responsible for chrono cross was also the reason why XIV 1.0 sucked hard.
