I was seriously considering making this my number 1 game, despite me looking forward to Wildstar, but this is seriously hindering my enjoyment of the game and if it continues I may not bother at all.

Yeah i'm pretty sure leaving us in the dark when we spend 10 hours straight trying to get in touch won't be valid in such a situation.
Not true. It says right in the form if you go through with the account merge, any characters on the mistaken account will be lost. Saying that obviously means that you can use the account, but it will all be pointless in the end after the merge.
I've been hovering around 15-17 in this chat queue for the past 20-30 minutes now. Drops down to 15, goes up to 16, sometimes to 17, then back to 15 over and over.
C'monnnnnn. This is my third chat queue(it just hit 14 as I'm typing this). I don't even know if this will fix my problem. All I know is I sent my ticket in at like midnight 27th, so it was still the 26th in PDT, and I haven't gotten anything other than a "we have received your ticket" email a few hours later.
I just spent my 5th session waiting in chat support. 3 hours every time, and at the end it says "No agents available" ISN'T THIS WHY I'M WAITING IN THE FIRST PLACE?
This is UNACCEPTABLE. Abysmal. I am beyond outraged. Tickets have not been fixed for a week and a half. Phone support cuts you off.
There is LITERALLY NO WAY TO CONTACT THESE GUYS.
Square Enix have already lost my support forever. This is beyond ridiculous.
Well, 178 to go... Gotta go to my other work building. Be back in about 30 min.
I just got through with Ricardo and he took all my information and said that the issue could take up to 2 weeks to resolve...that's about it. Keep in mind, i also had the chat queue open in 6(!) windows so that it was a never ending cycle of failures until 1 got through. Was just trying to play the odds. Hopefully it gets fixed at a decent rate...with the 3 days weekend coming I'd like to actually enjoy it.
I already posted how I did it, but I'm happy to reply back. these pages are filled with the same thing over and over anyways... lol
I filled the form out, I also put my PO/Reg. Key Codes in the bottom of the form. I called them by phone where I was on hold for 3 hours, so I left it on speaker phone and did other things. I spoke to customer support and he instantly knew what I needed after I gave him the ticket number. I was nice, he was nice, it went well and he said he did not know how long it would take to process. I said ok and take care. next morning it was fixed
so maybe the key is being nice? these are human beings, just like any of you getting an attitude perhaps some of these individuals might too? just a thought, not fact
You have been provided with something for your money, the game. No one said it would work or that you could use, but you did get something for the money spent. Remember, you don't actually own the game or your character it all belongs to SE. They basically "rent" it to you. Until they charge you for a sub fee you have no legal ground to stand on, even then the best you could get is theft for the money for the sub fee.
We can agree to disagree because I want to focus my troubles on them, not you lolYou have been provided with something for your money, the game.
