Mid Lv30's, there is a part where your character sits down to eat at Costa Del Sol just before fighting Titan. After you eat, it plays the NES version of the FF1 (or maybe FF2) victory theme.

Can anyone confirm which theme plays? I haven't gotten this far in the story yet.

Dont like lists like this that put references as references (such as The 2nd and 3rd Demon Walls are references to the first, so only the first should be listed here)

You mean how I put that its also a reference to 7 and 12? I see what you mean. I'll change it to say, "The Demon Wall is also found in 7 and 12". Makes more sense I suppose.
Thanks, added. Credited both of you.

Final Fantasy IV
The twin mages from the White Mage quests are very obvious references to Palom and Parom. They're twins, mages, they act like them, and look kind of similar.

There's doom train somewhere in the game as well![]()

Really? Where?
I don't know if they're really that similar, but I think its close enough to be a possible reference. Added it, thanks!

The level 2 melee limit break, Battledance, uses an aetherial Buster Sword when activated (FF7).
The Phantom Train is referenced, though you don't actually get to see or fight it (FF6).
Magitek armor mounts (FF6).
Ultima Weapon (Forgot which one he was in first, actually.)
If someone wins an argument, they have learned nothing.
FOR DOCKHAND!
This is my FAVORITE kind of thread, EVER !!!
More VIII, please =)))
