I finally got a hold of someone (4th try in 3 days) on chat yesterday and got my account fixed after about 4.5 hours.
I initially submitted the form on the 26th so my ticket didn't get escalated until I spoke with someone on chat
Don't believe the email that states your issue will be worked within 24-48 hours because they are definitely taking phone calls and chat as priority.

Me: So, i had to call them at 9am this morning, hoping I would get through.. and have them escalate my ticket.
Him: So.. when you called was it like "We're sorry, our customer service reps are full. Please try again later? Or did they like disconnect you right away with an ERROR! 1017! Did they make you press spam 0 on your phone afterwards to be able to get in?
Me: ..........
Him: Was the chat like that too? did they just boot you afterwards and let you try again?
Me: *burst out laughing*
It's funny and sad, because it's actually true.. Well, except for the spamming 0 on your phone part
