Free 30 day sub?

Maybe someone here can help me since I've tried contacting SE but they just closed my ticket and I always get the busy signal when trying to call them. I was told that if I pre ordered the game I would get 30 days free. So I pre ordered, entered both of my codes and now after like 4 days I think. It's saying I need to buy a subscription. Any idea why?

Pre-order has nothing to do with 30 free days - that's included for everyone. What platform and version you have? E.g. PS3 or PC and physical copy or Digital Download? Either way - what have you registered was the early acces code. You need to register the main game code which in case of physical copy is on the voucher in the game box and in case of digital download would be emailed to you. Check also your SPAM folder. In case of PC version you need to redeem code via Mogstation in case of PS3 via PSN / PS3.

Sorry I forgot to add all that information. I have the pc digital download. When I registered the early access code, it gave me another code starting with RAAU. Is that the code you're talking about? I checked every where and they haven't sent me any other codes.

The code that you were given after entering your pre-order code (beginning with RAAU) is not what you need to register the product. I believe that code simply registers you to the Square-Enix website. Check your email for anything you may have received regarding your FFXIV purchase. Undoubtedly in one of those emails will be a product registration key. Once you find it, you simply need to log into your account via the Mog Station. Once you are there, confirm that you are logged into the account (it will make mention of having a pre-order registration code attached, and SHOULD list your characters.

If you have confirmed this is the correct account that you wish to link your registration code to, you may proceed by clicking on the icon that appears as a flaming sun with a plus sign next to it (which is used to add a platform registration [i.e. PC or PS3]. Do NOT click on anything that says 'add new service'.

After that, put in your registration code and you should be good to go. I hope this make sense. But the first and most important step it seems is for you to track down your registration code.

Figured it out. Amazon cancelled the order, therefore never giving me the activation key. Thanks for the help guys
