Surely it would be easier to do an across the board merger of all service accounts with the first service account and then handle anyone who isn't happy with it?
Created my ticket, can't ring the support desk 'till tommorow so no point worrying over this when I know it will be fixed sooner or later.
I didnt get my confirmation email til a day later.I'm not even sure if my support ticket was even received - even just an automated email response would suffice! I've got no email confirmation and I have no idea where you can find the status of my support ticket. I would have never found the live chat if people didn't point me in that direction - not that it has been any help when you can't connect to an adviser after waiting in the queue for hours.
I know I have to take on some responsibility since this was my mistake in the first place, but the account management system was unclear and horribly convoluted. I refuse (out of principle) to play this 2nd service account I've created. If it means that I'll never get to play FFXIV, then so be it.

Welp went through the chat queue for the second time. I started this right at 12pm local time(9am PDT) and it is 4:34 now, still haven't gotten through and my account is still broken. I sent in a ticket early August 27th(early as in like, probably midnight my time, around the time I got my CE code, put it in, and didn't get my items, and then realized I made a second account by accident). I got an email later on the 27th saying that they had received my ticket and I should get a response in 24-48 hours. It is now the 30th, more than 48 hours, and nothing since. No email from a funky address in my junk email folder or main folder. Not a single thing. Chat just closed, no agent found.
