i called today right at 9 am pst, and i logged into the chat help. 2hrs10mns later still ringing and chat keeps telling me average wait time 45 mins or so which is not true.......once i get a hold of them how long is it going to take is my question
I'm really starting to get worried. I hear that you have to call them or get on this "Chat support" thing...Will a ticket alone not fix it?
I cannot call them by phone because I live outside the US and that would be an gigantic phone bill...And this Chat Support seems like taking forever to fix things for people...So what do I do?
Wait for ticket or give up entirely?
Did you get a time frame from the CS and what to expect afterwards by chance? I'm still sitting at work so don't see the point in queuing for a live chat yet but would like to know what to expect.That's great to know. +1 for the chat rep i spoke with on the phone, he seemed a little frazzled, i would imagine. But he apologized and said that it's just been really hectic for them since ffxiv opened up their servers. But he was extremely polite.. not rude or agitated, so I'm glad I didn't get a rude rep or i'd be so mad lol
No change, my service account 1 is still inactive. Maybe they are fixing the escalated accounts by original ticket number?
Anyways, this is my info:
Registered game: 08/27/13 (around 9am GMT)
Filled in form: 08/28/13 (around 8am GMT)
Received confirmation email from SE support center: 08/29/13 5:02am GMT
Ticket escalated: 08/30/13 10:45am GMT
I can't see the specific ticket anywhere when I check ticket status. Since I wasn't aware of this option to check ticket status earlier, I have no idea if my ticket was ever there at some point. Got a new ticket number now, but live chat support is closed. This ticket shows up in ticket status, as "open" on the top left of the page, and "in process" to the right. I'm so damn confused right now, and sad too.

Based on some people, they can fix it within hours or days after you get someone on chat or phone. My rep told me to call them back within a week if my issue is not fixed yet
I opened 3 multiple tabs, none went through.. I have 8 tickets submitted already, yesterday 2 went through but I wasnt able to check them, the moment I came back I would 5-7 minutes they DC'ed on me and my tickets were closed. Now Im still waiting for multiple chats to open.. to make it easier for you here is the chat link. input your ticket number in the parenthesis and make sure there are no blanks. goodluck! 2 hour+ wait time with 10 percent chance of success.

2 hours down the drain...I also got the no agents available. They are F***in' idiots. I hate to cuss but it has been one f'in screw up after another....
