    [Suggestion] Geomancer Job

    Geomancer (CNJ 30 / PGL 15)
    PGL, GLD cross-class skills. Equip wands, bells, not crooks. Bells boost VIT, Parry.

    GEO tanks, lore is bond with land, air, and sea by mystical dances, draw aether from Hydaelyn. GEO avoids dmg, spell interruption, boosting Evasion, Parry & generates more enmity by ATK spells.

    Level 30 - Dance (Reduce Heal 75%, increase Evasion 15%, spells generate Grace. Each Grace increase enmity, evasion 2%. 5 units Grace grant Earthlink, increase HP absorbed by Stoneskin 10 pctg pts, MP regen 10%.)

    Cleric Stance for damage.

    Spells named for FF6 Mog's Dances. Each only while Earthlinked, expend all Grace.

    35 - Earth Blues (Costs 15% max MP, deal 100 potency AoE dmg, decrease enemy DEF 10% for 15 secs.)

    40 - Wind Aria (15% max MP, 100 AoE, enemy ATK power -10%, 15 secs.)

    45 - Water Rondo (25% max MP, 100 AoE, enemy Determination -10%, 15 secs.)

    50 - Dusk Requiem (30% max MP, 120 AoE, enemy skill / spell spd -15%, 20 secs.)

    As much as GEO would be nice down the line, taking the ONLY class in the game right now that starts as a healer and giving them a way to not be a healer post 30 is a really bad idea -for now- Once they add in another healer or two, I could see it working.

    I see it more as an incentive to attract more players to CNJ pre-30.

    I have a suggestion too - SOLDIER -
    Weapon - Greatsword
    35 - Braver
    40 - Climhazard
    45 - Cross Slash
    50 - Omnislash

    AF - Soldier outfit with requisite "Cloud Hair™" head piece.
    Can meld materia without a profession also gains Knights of the Round summon upon acquiring job.

    This is obviously a joke but you can see that anything is possible and we can only dream as to what is coming in the future~

    I think Conjurer lends itself very well to the Geomancer job in terms of the lore and abilities. SE also hasn't revisited the Mog-style Geomancer since FFVI, and I love any and all VI references. I don't mean to predict that SE will actually implement this; I just wish they would.

    I prefer the FFT Geomancer, where you have to be standing on a certain element to be able to use the spell for that element type. It would be a really interesting class in an MMO.
    A few spells from that game.

    Pitfall: Effective on Natural Surface, Wasteland, Road. Adds: Don't Move.
    Water Ball: Water Elemental attack effective on Waterway, River, Lake, Sea, Waterfall. Adds: Frog.
    Carve Model: Effective on Gravel, Stone Floor, Stone Wall, Mud Wall, Tombstone. Adds: Petrify.
    Hell Ivy: Effective on Grassland, Thicket, Water Plant, Ivy. Adds: Stop.

    Basically, it's like Avatar the Last Airbender without all the waving of arms, jumping around, and sexual tension.

    I also love that model, but it might not fit with the dev team's goal of ensuring that all classes are useful everywhere.
