Please adjust the absolutely ridiculous achievements.

Has anyone actually looked at how outrageous most of the achievements are? 99% of them have nothing to do with difficulty, just completely unreasonable amount of grinding. How are these *achievements.*

Anyone who's played Rift knows the achievements were actual accomplishments, and they didn't take 15 years to achieve them. This is a serious turn off to any achievement hunter. Here are the most ridiculous achievements in the list:

Defeat 100,000 enemies.

Successfully complete 3,000 FATEs.

Complete 1,000 instanced dungeon raids.

Earn a cumulative total of 10,000,000 gil from levequests.

Complete 10,000 guildhests.

Complete 10,000 regional battlecraft levequests.

Complete 10,000 local tradecraft levequests.

Complete 10,000 fieldcraft levequests.

Complete 500 company levequests for the *insert grand company.*

(31,500 levequests total, this alone would take YEARS.)

Earn 500,000 storm/serpent/flame seals. (1,500,000 total)

Complete 5,000 supply missions for the *insert grand company.* (15,000 total)

Complete 5,000 provisioning missions for the *insert grand company.* (15,000 total)

Successfully affix 1,000 materia.

Successfully convert 1,000 spiritbound items into materia.

Successfully synthesize 3,000 times for level 41-50 *insert craft* recipes. (8 crafts,

24,000 total)

Craft 3,000 high-quality items as a *insert craft.* (8 crafts, 24,000 total)

Mine 20/300/1,000/2,000/4,000 times at *insert level range* mineral deposits in Thanalan/La

Noscea/Shroud. (21,960 total)

Log 20/300/1,000/2,000/4,000 times at *insert level range* mature trees in Thanalan/La

You're basing that on what? Achievements are optional and a mark of how old your account is, they should take ridiculously long amounts of time to get to the highest tiers.

There's really no need for WoW type achievements where you read the instructions and go obtain it 10 minutes later, it's not like they're integral to the game.

You must play a different Rift than me most are junk too. Most achievements are just progress markers rather than proper achievements. If you had proper achievements then there would only be a handful.

"I have 10 achievements!" Doesn't sound as good, does it.

NO.. do not take any of those out or reduce the number. I want some true achievements to work for. I will most likely never even reach most of those, but they will always be there urging me to complete them.

2. Your meant to play this game long term, not short term, it gives you something to work.

3. Defeat 100,000 enemies, just reminds me how long it toke me to level to 75 in FF11.
That was a fun year getting my Red Mage to end game. *tear*

I didnt know people cared this much about achievements. If I get some along my adventures, then awesome. If there are some that will enable me to unlock stuff, I guess I'll have to do those. But I dont really go looking for them in any game I play.......
