Sorry to hear you ran into a jerk. They are the minority, most people are polite and intelligent, but there are those who are ignorant like that person. Don't let it spoil your fun.

To those who posted asking why she needed to make a post about this - it is a forum, we chat, we discuss and we can support each other as a community, if you don't want to then don't read, easy.

Truth is these people would not speak to you that way if they were face to face with you, and if they did then they would be the type of people that you would never hang out with in real life. So don't let them spoil your fun. You ran into a jerk, forget him, don't give him the power to influence you.

When I use the duty finder I spend the entire dungeon making jokes... I still play my role but its fun to see reactions of the super serious ppl. I had a tank with no keyboard, I just told him "That's cool mate, just tank shit." I think for the most part ppl are quite mellow but you do get those elitists and serious types or others that like to pass the blame. Just ignore the jerks or make light of them to at least get a laugh (Although then again, Teasing may not be your style.. lol).

Sorry, I'll delete the thread, I don't know how to though, thought it'd be nice to hear some stories.

Pssh, no need to delete. It helps having some supportive posts on a vent thread to realize that not everyone in an MMO is an a-hole. Seriously, though, find a good free company to run with (if you haven't already.) The duty finder lists are filled with people who can't run with FCs due to being socially toxic or utterly inept. Get into a good group of friends and the MMO experience gets 135.7x better.

you are seriously an awful person and give all healers a bad name. why do people get an entitlement complex just by doing their job?
